The 35mm Braun Gloriette is a well-made mid 1950s viewfinder camera. German craftsmanship and engineering add up to a compact, sturdy and reliable camera.

The aperture and leaf shutter work properly, however, the camera normally has to have film in it to activate the shutter. If you know the proper technique it can be worked without film.

The body has no major cosmetic issues. There is some tarnish on the transport rails and the pressure plate is slightly discolored. The leather case is worn and there is some cracking on the hinge area. The strap is broken and needs repair or replacement.
