Description
Pye Pro-Lab 70 stereo receiver
The internet doesn't know a lot about this receiver as it was made before anybody had thought of the world wide web ... believe it or not. Dates from the era when only zillionaires could afford imported hifi kit, so items like this were actually made in New Zealand.
When I got this example I thought it would probably be a bit old and tired. It was a pleasant surprise to find it sounded good and did not have the problems that plague much older stereo gear such as noisy controls.
Tidy appearance, pretty well an A to my mind allowing for its age. Front face good, all lettering intact.
There are inputs for a turntable, aux and two tape/aux and outputs for two pairs of speakers.
Would like to hang on to it, but orders have come down to thin out the stereo gear, so some lucky punter will have the chance to enjoy.
