This is a soil moisture sensor it is suitable for a garden soil monitoring project. You can connect this sensor to your Arduino or Raspberry Pi, and use a wifi or RF module to transmit the moisture information to your desired location.

Note: only apply power to the module when you are going to read in moisture level, so you don't cause corrosion.
