This board incorporates the L298N Dual H Bridge IC and is ideal for interfacing with your Arduino, PIC, or ARM project.
The 2 Channel H-bridge driver, is suitable for controlling one standard bipolar stepper motor or two DC motors. When driving DC motors, the direction and speed of each can be controlled independently.

This module has an on board 78M05 to provide regulated 5V to the L298N logic supply voltage (Vss) pin. This regulator can be disabled by removing a jumper, if you prefer to supply regulated 5V yourself.
While the regulator is enabled, the board will supply 5V to the 5V terminal of the power connector. This can be used to power other circuits, but care must be taken not to overheat the 78M05 regulator.
The Enable A and Enable B can be controlled by your microcontroller, or they can be jumpered always on
