They are genuine, high tech Veneto models.

Hansaton categorised their new hearing systems into airline-like classes: AURIGA First Class, VENETO Business Class, LUMEO Comfort Class, and CEMIA Economy Class. Everything sounds natural with the VENETO, there are no strange frequencies or odd whistling noises, said Jerry Yanz,, Director of Audiology for Hansaton USA. The VENETO hearing system also extends the range far beyond that of most modern hearing aids. While most hearing systems max out at about 8,000 Hz, the VENETO uses HiFi sound all the way to 12,000 Hz, a remarkable improvement in the range of sound.

These hearing aids were purchased 19/11/2012 at over $7,000 dollars. If you qualify for a government subsidy ($1,022.22) you could purchase these (at 10% of original cost), have them reprogrammed and custom moulds fitted and possibly not spend more than the subsidy. The audiologist can show you how to apply for the subsidy and will tell you that the subsidy must be paid to them, but that is not so. If you win this auction, I will tell you how it can be paid to you.

I am selling them because my hearing has deteriorated so that I now require the next level of technology. They are in good order.

Buyer would be responsible for a hearing test by a qualified audiologist to determine if this level of technology is suited for your hearing loss. They would require reprogramming for the best fit according to the hearing test results and custom ear moulds made. Almost any audiology clinics can perform the test, reprogram the aids and make ear moulds but there often is a great difference in cost so it would pay to call around.

Hearing aids of this quality offer various programs for different environments, e.g., noisy restaurants, theatre, cinema, television, quiet, etc.
The programs can be set to function automatically, or by manual selection.
