The IP office 500 v2 is a combo card that can only be used on IP500v2 chassis.

This card provides a combination of 4 analogue trunk ports, 6 x Digital (DS) ext ports and 2 analogue station ports (for devices like a fax machine or credit card machine).

This combo card is not supported by IP500 control units. The Avaya IPO IP500 V2 Combination Card ATM has a pre-installed IP500 analogue trunk daughter card and it has become a popular choice among Avaya owners because it combines multiple station and trunk ports with VoIP resources in a single inexpensive card.

However, the analogue phone ports don't include a ringing capacitor. Either on port 7 or port 8, this card provides a single power-fail port. However, there are no Power Failure Transfer ports on this card.

Additionally, please keep in mind that all connection should be via a Master socket (containing ringing capacitors) where this is a requirement.
