This filter eliminates the interference between your broadband and your voice phone service. If you have ADSL Broadband, you need either a whole-house central filter(not common) or one of these on each phone.

If your current filter is tired or burned, get a brand-new one cheap! Or maybe you want to add another extension phone and need a filter for it.

At our house, we've smoked three of these during electrical storms, so we always have a spare on hand. If your phone or internet is dead after a big storm, the filter is a good place to check.

This unit is self-explanitory, and has NO documentation.
