Studies have found that 2% Chamomile extract in a cream can be as effective as 0.25% Hydrocortisone cream. In this cream I have combined Chickweed, Borage, Chamomile 2%, Witch Hazel and Vegetable Wax to make a soothing and effective cream. Lavender has been added to mask the strong Herbal smell but the can be left out if preferred. This cream helps manage itching as well as weepy eczema and due to the gentle formulation is ideal for children. Apply several times a day as needed. My range of Herbal creams, balms and ointments are made from natural ingredients, there are no hidden chemicals or additives. I make my own base cream by hand using the raw ingredients of vegetable wax, herbal oil and filtered or herbal water. The exact ingredients are determined by the ailment being treated. These preparations are made in small batches to ensure they reach you in optimum condition. I use organic ingredients when they are available and you can be assured all the ingredients are of a high standard from ethical and sustainable sources. I developed this cream for my nephew who has had eczema on his feet since he was a preschooler. He's had all sorts of creams from doctors and dermatologists but nothing worked. He's now 24 and I gave him a jar of my formulation. Within 3 weeks of using twice a day the eczema has gone.
