This elbow support strap is specifically designed to support the inflamed extensor muscle and tendons. Designed to be comfortable during long term use, the adjustable strap provides effective relief of elbow pain associated with Tennis or Golf Elbow.

The Tennis Elbow support is not just a 'wrap around' support bandage. It includes a built in support pad that is positioned underneath the extensor muscle to provide support.

The support pad is located inside of the strap and is positioned underneath the extensor muscle. The desired location of the support pad is shown in the diagram below. Proper location of the support pad will provide immediate pain relief.

What is Tennis Elbow? Interestingly, over 95% of reported cases have nothing to do with playing tennis. Any activity involving strain on the forearm and elbow can cause inflammation of the extensor muscle. This is particularly the case if the activity has been repetitive. These activities would include outdoor activities such as gardening, golf, bowls and of course, tennis. It also includes work related activities such as hammering and sawing. The medical term for tennis elbow is lateral epicondylitis. This describes a condition involving inflammation of the tendons connecting the muscles of the forearm to a bone on the outside of the elbow known as the lateral epicondyle
