Paracetamol suppositories are indicated for the temporary relief of pain and fever. Paracetamol suppositories are preferred for patients suffering from nausea or vomiting.

DIRECTIONS: Tear suppository off strip, remove plastic and insert suppository.

Adults: 2 - 4 suppositories inserted in the rectum up to 4 times in 24 hours. Maximum 16 suppositories per day.

Children 6 - 12 years: 1 - 2 suppositories inserted in the rectum up to 4 times in 24 hours. Max 8 suppositories per day.

Children 2 - 6 years: 1 suppository inserted in the rectum up to 4 times in 24 hours. Max 4 suppositories per day.

Not recommended in infants less than 2 years of age, except on the advice of a physician.

INGREDIENTS: 250mg Paracetamol per suppository.

CAUTIONS/CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• Use strictly as directed. Prolonged or excessive use can be harmful. Do not use for more than 48 hours except on doctor's advice. Do not take orally.
• Do not take with other products containing paracetamol, unless advised to do so by a doctor or pharmacist.
• If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (NZ 0800 764 766) or go to a hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage.
