Tip from another buyer to have 24 perfectly filled capsules every time.

1. I keep my powder in a Pyrex dish that is about 5-6" across and 4" deep. It is easy to spoon the powder out and then to push the extra off the base prior to putting the top on.
2. I tamp down and add powder 3 times to get them as full as possible.
3. Once I have wiped off the excess powder and put the Top on, I rock it back and forth gently while applying down pressure. Once it is free enough to depress on all 4 sides a little, then I press it completely down onto the base. This lets the capsule tops and bottoms come together properly and keeps some of them from hitting and getting smashed.
4. To get the completed capsules out of the base, I gently rock on all 4 sides, getting them to loosen; then depress fully.
5. Once the capsules have fallen out of the base, press both halves firmly together before putting them into a container to ensure they do not come apart.

Works like a charm. Wonderful product and easy to use. You need a shallow bowl or something to catch the excess filling.

Things like this just amaze me that there are actually people out there that can figure out how to make such nifty products. It is quick and couldn't be any easier.
