Solid rimu with ply sides (think these are rimu). Three dovetail drawers on wooden runners with pine sides and plywood bottoms (not rimu). Had been restored by previous owner. The top, sides & front of drawers have been oiled while the framing has been varnished which gives an interesting look but would probably look nicer sanded back and oiled.

Is a lovely set of drawers, the rimu has a beautiful grain and a lovely rich warm colour. We have been using these drawers in our lounge for storage however we are in the process of decluttering and it needs to go.

Good condition apart from some scratches and marks from general wear and tear which are more noticable on the varnished areas. There is also a repair with a metal brace on the framing underneath the top drawer where it has split at some stage (see photos). A 5.5cm split on the top and 2.5cm on one of the legs (see photos) There is also some glue which has dripped and dried on the inside of the backboard (see photo).
