The long lasting bronze creaminess enhances the distinctive flavour of dark chocolate in African coffees. Its long after-taste recalls savoury notes of toasted almonds, with slightly spicy tones. As a ristretto (shorter than a 20 mil espresso) the flavour is as suggested "intense". It pours well as a lungo with added hot water, although should not be extract beyond 30ml or the bitterness starts to come through.
