From their Still Life collection, Kosta Bodas Skull Votive Holder is a little glass skull, designed to house a small tealight candle. On one hand, its an expression of the fragile nature of life; a scathing commentary on our own mortality On another, slightly less serious note, it also makes an awesome decoration for your desk, table or a bookshelf and comes in handy for impromptu performances of the "Alas, poor Yorick!" scene from Hamlet.

Each Skull Votive Holder is made individually, from thick, opaque glass. Every detail is crafted to absolute perfection. At the top, a large, deep hole allows you to easily drop a candle inside. At night, it gives the effect of flickering light coming from within the skull.

Creepy? Possibly. Cool? Definitely!
