Description
I’ve actually got 11 big brass knobs for sale (and no it’s not the 2011 Australian cricket team either!)
You could say “I’ve got a mob of knobs and got the job to fob the lot for a few bob” but you probably can’t. Sob ;-(
No man needs 11 knobs he’s knob using so if you like knobs then let me knob.
This auction is just for 1 knob though because most people I know don’t really want 11 knobs either.
However if you’re not happy with just the 1 knob at home then please list your knob requirements via the questions below and I'll work out how to get the rest up.
1 knob is polished. 10 knobs are knob (see photos). This auction is for an unpolished one because I need to keep the polished one to show other buyers what a polished knob looks like.
If you want a polished knob then I’d imagine some cleaning products and an old sock would do the trick.
To be clear these are solid brass door knobs. Not those cheap knob-off plated ones you see around,
They were bought for $270 each from a knob shop called Knobs & Knockers. I'm knob joking!
Each one is actually made up of 3 parts: the base (10.5cm across), the rod/shaft (14cm long) which also comes with one-nut at the end (not 3 as shown - that'd be just weird!), and the knob end bit (10.5cm across). Overall these are some pretty big knobs ay!
In total the brass bits stick out 11.5cm (4.5 inches) from the door.
I also have a little knob that’s just 5cm x 5cm if size doesn’t matter.
On ya 12 Knob Rob
PS: Closes 9pm on auction night, sorry I mean election night. Easy to get confused with so many knobs in this one.
