RURAL DELIVERY You may be deemed rural delivery/outside normal delivery area even though your address does not have a RD number in it. Many smaller towns will be outside the normal courier delivery area and they will pass the parcel onto a local contractor (normally NZ Post or Courier Post) which is why there is an extra charge.
