In 1783, two brothers started a little crystal factory in Waterford, one of Irelands busiest ports. Before long, ships began to sail all over the world, laden with beautiful Waterford crystal. Over the years the Waterford name became synonymous with immaculate quality and exquisite design, and today Waterford are renowned for the most beautiful crystal in the world.

Lismore has always been one of Waterfords most successful crystal patterns, and on its 60 Year Diamond anniversary was celebrated with a reinterpretation of the classic Lismore design. Diamond is, of course, dedicated to striking diamond cuts in its crystal, bringing a whole new life to this already treasured crystal pattern.
