What is Corten? Corten is a valuable steel alloy which has two main properties, it's great strength and it's longevity, Corten as it begins to weather starts to form a protective and beautiful rust layer on the surface which actually protects the steel and prevents it from rusting away like mild steel would, it's colour only rich-ens and deepens with age so one of the great joys of owning a Corten product is observing its progression through time as it takes on the elements.

Dimensions are about 580mm x 580mm at the top by 430mm tall

• Not a flimsy Chinese import, proudly made by me here in New Zealand. All parts are 4mm Corten, seam welded to the highest standard using SMAW procedure for maximum strength and aesthetic appeal.
