Mature plants grow to about 90 cms.Highly fragrant, white, 5-petalled flowers with long, projecting stamens are borne in long, open racemes in early summer. They and the unripe fruit, produce an aromatic, volatile oil which may be ignited in hot weather. Suits a perennial border. Grow in dry, well drained, moderately fertile soil in sun or part shade.
