Sabal palmetto or Cabbage Palm about 3 years old growing in a 7cm pot with an average height of 300mm they are a little root bound with roots coming out of the bottom of the pots and will not affect the growth of the palms.

This slow robust palm that will grow to 15m in height and is the state tree for Florida and South Carolina growing on the edge of swamps and river banks that can grow in poor draining soil and still able to withstand flooding Optimum growth occurs in humid subtropical to warm temperate climates but still can grow in areas that have occasional frost/snow down to -4C
