Two delicious Nashi Pear varieties grafted on the same tree. you get to enjoy both varieties and an extended picking season!

Nashi Pear trees are easy to grow and are very prolific producers of juicy crisp summer fruits that taste divine when picked fresh from the tree.

Tree ripened Nashi's are so much better tasting that off supermarket shelves! If you've never tried a Nashi Pear, they have a flavour and texture somewhere between a pear and an apple.

Nijiseiki has very juicy, sweet tangy, creamy white, crisp medium size rounded fruit that hang in great clusters from a very ornamental looking tree in summer. It is self fertile and a good pollinator for other Nashi and Pear varieties.

Hosui has medium size rounded fruit with golden russeted skin. Very highly flavoured (honey flavour) juicy flesh. Midseason ripening. Cross pollinates with Nijiseiki or Kosui

Kosui has small, flat, bronze russeted fruit, early maturing. High quality sweet fruit. Cross pollinates with Hosui.

Nashi Pear trees thrive in warm sheltered sunny spots, in organically rich, moisture retentive but good draining soils. They are much hardier growing than apples and generally don't need spraying for diseases and pests.

Nashi Pears like climates with cold winters and mild summers.

You are bidding on one specimen grade double grafted tree in a pb12 bag standing aprox 1.5m tall from the top of the bag to the top of the branches. You can choose from the two dual combos listed above.

Trees are grafted on semidwarf rootstock (M106) and will grow to aprox 3-4.5m tall.

Allow 2-3 years from planting for the tree to start commence producing fruit.
