This canna lily has a vibrant red single flower (occasionally with a tiny hint of yellow), and striking coloured attractive green leaves with rich dark purple veins and leaf border.

After flowering the seed pods are also stunning looking on the stem and make a beautiful floral display in a vase.

It grows well in full sun although is very tolerant of part shade in a warm climate. It is very easy to grow in any kind of soil and self seeds.

A great addition to a garden border, & lovely in a country garden or in any style of garden, including in a lush subtropical garden.

As an enthusiastic home gardener, who loves growing many different perennial and annual flowers & vegetables in an organic spray-free situation, and working on natural soil sustainability and regeneration, these have grown well for me, and I have a few left over to share.
