Produces attractive, round, stringless pods about 15cm long with light brown seeds. Delicious in flavour the pods should be picked young and regular to encourage cropping over a long period. The pods turn green in boiling water.

Plants produce plenty of distinctively flavoured, stringless pods over a long period if picked regularly. Delicious when no thicker than a pencil, and can be sliced or cooked whole.

Beans prefer full sun and well drained soil.
