Description

Brassica oleracea var italica A delicacy, but so easy to grow.

Delicious, extremely hardy and prolific, sprouting Broccoli is grown for the harvest of its tasty side shoots. After cutting the single central head, small curds will sprout forth from late winter onwards. Keep cutting the side shoots with 10-15cm of stem and do not let any flower otherwise the plant will run to seed and become exhausted. Ideal winter and early spring vegetable.

Broccoli thrives on any well nourished soil. Boil, stir fry or steam and serve with melted butter.

Ideal for freezing.

This auction is for 50 seeds with instructions. They can be sown early Spring, late Spring, late Summer or early Autumn.

I'm happy to combine postage so come on in and take a look!
