Bespoke 18 Carat Yellow Gold Opal & Diamond Ring

The following auction is for a superb 18 carat gold hand-made, bespoke opal ring set with a central 1.90 carat Australian opal. The opal is an excellent specimen that only just falls short of a full 2 carats. The flanking diamonds, 6 of them, weigh a total of .15 carats and are good quality. The ring is handmade in a very unique design, can't say I've seen anything like it before. It looks excellent on the finger and is a very special dress ring with a good presence when worn. People will notice when you take this beastie out on the town. The opal has a very nice color that changes depending on light, it ranges from a light blue to a very deep and vivid green with pink hues.

The ring has been professionally valued at a new replacement value of NZ$ 3, 850. All papers are to be provided to the winner of the auction and the reserve is set well below its stated value. Fully hallmarked as 18 carat gold.
