"Heuer Trackmaster Trackstar 7 Jewels Stopwatch" A high-quality mechanical [wind-up] watch. Made in Switzerland.

Heuer-Leonidas watch - made before the company became "Tag Heuer". Previous owner [presumed first owner - but don't know] claimed the watch wasn't really used much - probably less than 50 times [but no guarantees]. Evidently it's main [possibly only] usage was for timing greyhounds. Don't know if the watch has ever been serviced, but guarantee/warranty slip at back of booklet has been removed.

Watch measures approx. 55mm diameter [not including the crown]. Watch weighs 105 grams.

CONDITION - PLEASE NOTE: There are scratches, scuffs and wear on the glass [can be seen much better using the close-up scan on the auction photos]. Some of the more obvious ones are a 7mm scratch near the 16,a similar sized scuff/scratch near the 20 and two scratches either side of black dial. Evidently the watch was carried unprotected in a pocket when "in use". Looks like dust or small marks on the dial near the 47 [can be seen using a jeweller's glass]. Metal parts have some minor scratches and marks, but nothing serious. Watch was tested [timed over a period of 15 minutes]. Seems to work fine. Box has general agewear. Booklet is creased/bent and has a rough area and small hole on the back and inside of back, where there's a date, but the year is not readable. No owner marks found. NOTE: Scratches/scuffs on glass and marks on metal have not shown up in some of the photos [unless enlarged]. The glass is not as dull and cloudy as it appears in a few of the photos. Close-up examination of the photos is essential to get an idea of what the glass looks like when viewed under magnification. Some of the marks on the metal are dust specks - which are of course removable.
