305 Chev V8 Motor

Hi we brought this engine in a car about 5 years ago for one of our projects. Never happened so Hubby has decided it is time for some more room in the "man cave"! We got it on the understanding it had been recon just before we got it. It was in a BMW so the sump has been altered to fit. Stainless steel exhast system and manifolds. Not sure of the condition of the radiator that comes with it sorry, We drove it home (about half an hour) and it was "missing". Has been started with new plugs and after the new leads were put in the correct order it was running awesome but we never put it back into a car after that to road test again. Starter motor has been recon and we think it is a high speed one. Holly carb (think its for a 350 tho)! Don't know what year but poss early '80"s Any Q's please ask and we will try to answer them. Would prefer pickup or you organise. Also would like people to look at before purchasing as we are not mechanics and have no recipts for the work that was done! Thanks for looking and keep an eye on our listings as I am convincing hubby to make more room and i know there is at least one shed i could empty and put on here lol!!!
