1uz to Hilux engine mounts 2004 - 2012

So you have a new shape hilux and want to fit a Lexus V8. Maybe the common rail D4D engine (1KD or 2KD) has been giving issues or exploded. Maybe you want more power or want the proper sound that a V8 engine makes. First thing you need is going to be some mounts.

We now make mounts to suit this conversion. Weather you are fitting a early 1uz-fe, a later 1uzfe VVti or want a bit more torque so chose the 3uz VVti then these mounts will make your life easier

As the stock toyota rubber mounts are soft with the standard motor they are not going to handle the Toyota V8. Our mounts do not use the stock rubber insulator , these mounts go between the engine block and the hilux chassis. They are based on our Race and 4x4 race series of the early mount and re built tough. They feature a mount capture system in the event of a crash the engine remains captive and still wont move. By minimising engine movement it make clearance issues easier.

These later model utes drive really nice with the V8 fitted and the larger engine bay when compared to the early ute makes fitment much easier.

We also have gearbox bellhousings and flywheel / clutch kits availiable for these utes. All other parts are avaliable for these engine and conversions

We prefer the later VVti engines especially the 3uz as the Utes are drive by wire and the engines are drive by wire to the work well with each other.
