Description

"The All Black Bus" has been touring for the 2011 RWC, having made appearances at over 12 games at centers all over the North Island.

The All Black Bus has appeared in numerous newspapers, had a fair amount of radio airtime, & also had an appearance on tv. Plus thousands of photo's from all over the world during the RWC. We've even had RWC boss Martin Sneedon & NZRU CEO Steve Tew on board.

At the conclusion of the RWC we had the honor of transporting All Black legends Stephen Donald, Mils Muliaina, & Richard Kahui to a civic reception in Hamilton on the bus.

It's all set up, it sleeps 5-6 comfortably, gas cooker & fridge, sink, water, storage under the seats/beds, cupboards in the kitchen area. Has a rear wardrobe. The back doors open up. Plenty of lighting in the interior, fire extinguisher.

Just before the RWC we replaced the rear tyres, ignition switch, indicator switch wiring, front quarter windows, plus a few other minor things for a new COF. Has current COF, current Rego, & current RUC.

This can be driven on a car license so you don't have to worry about HT or passenger license, just get in & drive.

The body is sound, a few bits of rust coming through here & there (not structural), mainly around where the nose attaches to the body, but a bit of TLC would take care of this (these were never mentioned when it passed it's COF).

The engine is a 3500cc petrol, which runs very well. The previous owner had only done 200km's in the past two years before we bought it, and we did over 4000km's during the RWC & the bus never missed a beat, always starting first time, the only thing that happened was the fan belt giving way which was replaced there and then on the side of the road. Its had a new rocker cover gasket fitted. It uses bugger all oil and water.

This bus is an absolute gem! The stories it could tell, the places its been. We've gained a bit of a following for the bus (over 1000 on facebook, & 400 on twitter).

Compare this to others on trademe, it has huge potential!!
