Set up for Permanent Living and Freedom Camping! 1985 Toyota Hiace Super Custom campervan. Owned van 4 1/2 years. Not driven hard, low mileage (280,043km), automatic transmission, petrol. Regrettable sale due to health reasons. Received full service & WOF Thurs 10th March. Replaced alternator belt 24th Sept & power steering belt March. 20 litre cooler 12v. There is room for a 50 litre fridge/freezer.

There is also room for an extra: 2 x 95w solar panels . Solar controller has large enough capacity to accommodate two extra panels. 1 x 95amp Deep Cycle Gel Battery.

Roof and walls of the van are insulated, this has been warm enough in the winter.
Re-varnished interior woodwork. New blue thermal-drape curtains with block-out lining.

There is enough power to be self-sufficient and park up for as long as you like without having the need to plug into a power source. There is no electrical certification as everything is set up to run off the 12v setup. i.e. TV, laptop, phones, magic bullet, electric blanket. Petrol and temperature gauges stopped working last year so I use the trip meter for calculating mileage. There are no leaks. Tow bar not wired for towing; fitted purely for carrying a bike. Heaps of storage under seating and in cupboards. Internal height 1.68m. Table folds down to form 1.320m x 1.440m bed (plenty of room to extend bed length). Great vehicle, drives well, regularly serviced, comfortable to live in.
