Extremely tidy home built double horse float with "tack trunk" storage.

We've had this float for several years, with the intention of upgrading - however we just never got around to it until now as it's been such a great and reliable float.

Even tricky travellers seem to hop straight in and travel well. It is spacious at the front as well as the back, and has a nice shallow ramp. It also tows really well- my automatic Isuzu Bighorn towed it everywhere and never had an issue; could barely tell I was towing anything. Float is braked.

It failed its most recent WOF (photo attached) which is a bit of an incentive for us to finally part with it. Somebody who knows how to weld should make a tidy profit quite quickly. Chest bars etc are all padded and rubber mats are in great nick. Floor of the float is in great condition, as is the rest of the exterior.

We had four brand new wheels (incl. tyres) put on six months ago, and they still have heaps of life left in them.

Structurally, the float is 100% sound- it just needs some welding underneath by the chassis, rust treatment and minor fixes such as bulb replacements in rear side lamps. See WOF report. I think these are around >$10 from Repco.

As I said, good opportunity for someone who knows how to weld to get a great float and make a quick profit. Or keep it themselves as it has been super reliable and the horses seem to like it.

We have de-registered the float but it is $9.93 incl GST to register for three months, or $26.73 for the year.
