An Iconic Superbike
Hand built at HRC in 1987, the first 1000 RC30's were offered by ballot to over 3000 eagerly waiting customers in Japan. Only these first bikes carry a dedicated plaque with the winners serial number. Two World Championships and many wins at the IOM TT races, the bike soon reached a cult status and now after 27 years they are the "Must Have" motorcycle for any serious Superbike collector.
This example has travelled 7300kms before being fitted with a de-restriction speedo which now reads only 4600Kms. The tyres are good but very old and still has the original factory lock wires on the sprocket.
The bike is not perfect, some minor scuffs and the paintwork has small glazing cracks typical of original RC30's. (Many have been repainted) They call this "Patina". The bike is original,NOT a restoration.
Inspection welcome and more photos available. Runs very well and starts first pop of the button. Lovely close ratio gearbox, you can lose your license in first gear!
