Yamaha TZ750 1974
$7,500
No bids
Description
Have you always wanted a TZ750, but can't stomach the $50-$60k entry price for a ready to ride bike? Like the idea of spending how and when you see fit to get the end result YOU want?
Do you enjoy the feeling of creating or rebuilding a bike from the ground up? Finding the hard to find parts, refurbishing old parts back to new?
Do you like the idea of 120+ 2 stroke style HP?
Look no further!
You will get:
- 1974 TZ750A frame
- 1974 TZ750A swing arm, chain adjusters & axle Also, you will also get a Harris Monoshock conversion swing arm with a KSS built Short Ohlins shock to suit
- 1974 TZ750 Tank
- TZ750 Yokes in the correct 35/36mm leg dia
- TZ350/750 front hub with 3.5 x17 inch rim
- TZ350 Hub with 4.5x17 inch rim
- TZ750 Cases (ok condition, but need some small welding repairs. Will have also a set of TZ750 crank flywheels)
- Set of TZ 35/36mm forks (legs need rechroming). These are TZ250 not TZ750. They are almost identical to the 750 ones which are unobtanium and moonbeams when found!
Note: This is NOT a full bike but is a collection of the key parts that will allow the purchaser to build a pukka TZ750 (frame, engine cases, forks, yokes, wheels tank). Please recognise it will require time, effort and commitment from the buyer to source the remainder parts, repair or refurbish the parts supplied and build the bike.
The seller is happy to assist the buyer with information/guidance on where to source these remaining parts & with the rebuild.
Brake discs, calipers, gearbox, bodywork, carbs, ignition, cylinders, heads, instruments, sundry engine covers and other parts, controls, tyres, cables etc all need to be sourced and are available. Items like brakes, handle bars, carbs, ignition, exh pipes could all be tailored to your preference and do not need to be OEM style (but if to be raced would need to fit within the MNZ rules).
There is a strong worldwide TZ community sourcing parts.
Please review the photos of what you get, and or ask questions.
