No listing for ARIEL, so have listed as BSA (Ariel was owned by BSA at this stage anyway).
Reconditioned gearbox ($1,200, have receipt) This older restoration is in good condition for its age, and runs great. Slight crazing of paint on tank. Don't know the exact mileage, but given condition I would say its not that high. The old guy I bought it off a year and a half ago said he hadn't ridden it since the 80s and had done less than 1000 miles on rebuilt engine. He did the resto, including having the mag rebuilt. Usually starts first kick, so I believe him. Runs and rides nicely. This bike has fallen out of the system as far as I am aware , however I have all the relevant NZ ownership papers, so it wont be a problem re-registering it. Am looking to get it VINed if I get time. Been told it's $271 by VTNZ to do so. Given it is over 40 years old,it's only $120 rego for a year. This was a cop bike originally.
