Suzuki DR650SE 2008

** PHOTO UPDATE** This DR650SE was built to travel 100,000 km on "around the world" trip.

It has been fitted with some of the most reliable Adventure riding components available, some custom made for me. Comfortable for taller rider

I completed first 24,000km stage of world trip through Korea, Russia and Eastern / Western Europe without ANY motorcycle issues. DR650SE's have a solid reputation for legendary reliability.

Due to instability in North Africa I postponed second stage of trip from France to South Africa and brought the bike home to NZ with me. Stored it unused for a year. Bike is NZ new with fresh WOF & 3 month rego.

MODIFICATIONS.

-20 litre "IMS" fuel tank. 400km range

-"Maier" heavy duty hand guards with large cups for weather and crash protection.

• "B&B" alloy bash plate under engine.

-Alloy bars and bar risers.

-Custom made screen which works well. -Screen adjustable in height and forward / backwards

• Custom foamed comfortable seat which can be sat on all day.

-"Jesse" Panniers from USA. These are lockable and weather proof. Custom made frames bolted to lugs welded to DR which allow panniers to be EASILY slid forward or rearward for weight distribution and solo / dual riding. These paniers/frames are proven reliable and do NOT wobble, sag or crack fully loaded.. Panniers have internal bolt & can be removed from frame in less than one minute.

-Custom made rear luggage rack flush with seat.

-"Scottoiler" with long range reservoir.

-BMW style power socket added under seat to charge accessories in baggage. Handle bar power point for GPS / camera.

"Eibach" custom uprated fork and rear shock springs .

Cylindrical container with weather tight lid for storing travel documents etc

All wheel bearings double sealed
