TORPEDO7 Tyre Pressure Stetho-Gauge 0-15 PSI
Description
Size - 0-15 PSI Colour - none
You should always check your tyre pressure before you ride and regularly during an event, as tyre pressure is often changing due to environmental and tyre temperatures. Its important to have the correct pressure as it gives your tyres the optimum traction, allowing you to maintain control. They are also an integral part of the suspension system, so correct pressure will keep this system running smoothly.
The TORPEDO7 Tyre Pressure Stetho-Gauge has a 310mm flexible hose with push and hold connection (includes stop valve for deflating tyre). This gauge is designed to be accurate in the 0 to 15 psi range where ordinary tyre pressure gauges are least accurate. The dial has black graduations in 1/2 psi increments across the 0-15 psi range. The large, white background face makes accurate readings from the dial easy. It also features a polycarbonate lens and a complete stainless steel air hose assembly for mechanical protection and long life. The rubber dial casing gives shock resistance.

As a general rule, the front tyre should be 1 psi less than the rear tyre. 12 psi front and 13 psi rear works well for most terrain, but you may want to fine tune this for your specific riding conditions.
