1972 Datsun 1200 Coupe Turbo

Sadly, my Datsun Coupe I've owned and built over the last 15 years needs to find a new home to make way for my next project.

It is 100% roadworthy with recent WOF and Rego. It's certified for all modifications, has a MANZ Competition vehicle logbook, complies with MANZ Schedule A and has current Authority card which will need to be applied for by the new owner.

It has MANZ homologated 6 point cage with 6 point harnesses and Kevlar seats (unsure of brand I think autosport copies?) It has a full original interior except for back seat and carpets.

This car is seriously quick. It's powered by a Nissan CA18DET motor with quality internals Arias, Spool, Jun, Kelfords etc and on 98 pump gas, it produces just over 230kw at the hubs on just 13psi boost and has the potential to make more... just add boost!

It has an S12 (short) gearbox with a few internal mods. It has cracktested, deburred and shot peened gears, I've just rebuilt it with a new bearing set and it is sweet.

At the back is a narrowed Toyota Hilux diff with LSD and a 3.6 ratio gears puts the power down well with custom anti tramp bars and is supported by a custom adjustable watts linkage. Also comes with a 4.1 ratio open diff head.

Brakes are suitably upgraded with 280mm discs up front and 'Nissan' Sumitomo 4 and 2 piston calipers (ex R32 Skyline) & Pagid pads controlled by a willwood pedal box, it has pretty amazing stopping power and needs it.

All rubber bushes have been removed from suspension and replaced with spherical bearings or solid bushes, adjustable platforms up front with Koni shocks front and rear.

New 15x8" Varrstoen wheels and 205/50/15 Dunlop 03G Soft tyres are awesome and have done just one sprint event.

Comes with new personalized plate '4CD IN'
