Isuzu Bighorn MANUAL 1996

Bighorn for sale. Its done a few k's but still gets along all good.

3.1 Intercooled turbo diesel with a 5 speed manual behind it (was an auto but has been converted and certified).

Exterior is in ok condition with various scatches and the dent in the front right panel as pictured. Tinted windows all round.

Interior is in pretty good condition considering age and km's on it with all the electrics working fine and only a small hole in the side of the drivers seat cover.

Tidy engine bay, twin battery model, has had a new starter motor fitted recently and new clutch kit, release bearing, spigot bearing, clutch master cylinder all done 1000km ago. Also at the time of the clutch replacement the flywheel was machined, oil leaks on the engine were fixed and new oil was put in the gearbox and transfer box.

About 4 to 6mm left on the tyre treads.

Service not due till 420,000km. Road user charges not due till 416,000km Wof due in March Rego due in Jan

Starts up a bit rough on cold morns and blows smoke at the same time but both of them disappear after a quick rev of the engine. (glow plug light doesn't stay on very long so that might have something to do with it)

Coolant is a very nice green and engine has stayed at a good temp even under heavy load. Recently took it to Christchurch for the weekend (5 1/2 hour drive) and it never missed a beat.

This is nearly 20 years old and has done a few k's so don't expect it to be like a new Ferrari but it will suit someone to travel the ski field roads, dunk the boat in the lake, go hunting in, weekend 4 wheel driving, dropping kids off at school, ect.
