KRIS BAINES BIO: Just over a decade ago, Kris Baines was confronted with the sobering and devastating truth that he may never play the piano again, at least without a great deal of pain. Kris had developed RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) in both his hands. Miraculously, God intervened, healing Kris' hands, and thus enabling him to play to this day. These instrumental CD's arranged and performed on solo piano, feature a piano style that has been described as "not quite classical, and not quite jazz" and is certainly intended to move and inspire those who listen. The idea behind the CD's was to bring a depth and emotion to these classic hymns, that matches the incredibly moving lyrics, and the touching stories behind the lives of many of the composers. It is Kris' hope and prayer that his arrangements of these timeless favourites will touch and refresh the spirit.
