Here's the debut album by a band who should've been a major name in the Rock World if it wasn't for one of the shallowest set-up's by major label 'Geffen Records'. Around the time 'Rock City Angels' were gigging around the L.A. sunstrip, another band soon to be known as one of the World's biggest & most iconic acts was also throwing themselves at sell-out clubs with their similar style of dirty Hard Rock. That band was no other than Guns N' Roses. What made these 2 bands so popular was their no-bullshit approach & dynamic stage prescence, which not only captivated hordes of young fans, but also the attention of the label 'Geffen Records'. With GN'R being the first of the bands to be signed up & now in the studio putting down the layout to the soon-to-be mega-selling 'Appetite For Destruction', Geffen knew it was going to be an explosion the World has yet to embrace. But not wanting their newly signed Rockers to be in competition with anyone, so sales would be plentiful, they quickly offered Rock City Angels a contract of their own & got them into the studio to start putting down tracks for their own debut. With minimal finance offered, a ridiculous studio time limit, & pathetic lack of promotion, RCA's debut went virtually unknown & the band never got past the opening act status for other legends. Although the band continued to put out recordings & do small US tours, this was a tale of a band used to the worst so another band could gain mammoth proportions.
