"Are Back In Town" Smoke Notes Rodger Fox (trombone) is well-known to audiences in New Zealand and overseas for his frequent appearances with his jazz band at festivals and for his radio programmes. Like an urban myth, this CD is a 'lost' recording: it was rediscovered in 2004 some ten years after it was originally made and it's a classic. Midge Marsden excels in his rendition of Albert King's 'You're Gonna Need me" and the opener 'Grits ain't Groceries'. The album also features George Chisholm (trumpet), Brian Smith (tenor sax).
