Koch and Soehne

I restored an almost identical Koch and Soehne for Riccarton House in Christchurch, believed to be one of the original pianos for the home.

This one is made before 1900, the tone is consistent with the high quality German engineering. The piano is still decorated with its original candle holders and ivory keys. The tall case gives the piano a bigger bass and tone. The exterior was restored before I came across it.
