Introducing the cheapest GENUINE mic you can get with the Shure name on it. These sound much better than a fake SM58.

So what is it? It's a very good value for money mic - probably the best $50 mic you will find on the planet - but it is just that - a $50 mic. Don't expect it to sound like a $200 SM58 or even a PG58 because it doesn't.

Having said that, they do sound VERY good for a mic this price, and are quite usable. I bought a couple for my band and gave one to the lead singer - he loves it. Not because it is awesome or anything, but because it was way better than the tired old thing he was using.

Comes with a XLR-Jack lead, but no mic clip (ie the plastic thing that goes on a mic stand to hold the mic in place).

So if you want a cheap, useable mic with a switch this is a great choice. I use them for talk to stage, karaoke, wedding/dj announcements and anything else that doesn't need a top quality mic, or where it may get damaged (eg drunk people etc)

If you can stretch a bit more out of your budget, the PG57 or PG58 is a better choice, or if you are serious about your singing career, get an SM58 or Beta58a and be done with it for at least 20 years!
