This "Royal Edition" of the collected songs of Robert Schumann was published by Boosey & Co. Our research suggests this copy might well date back to the mid-1870s, making it most collectable.

This hardback has gilt-edged pages, and a cover embossed with black, blue and gold highlights. The inner spine is very damaged, but the pages are still legible, ready for a rendition of "Holiday on the Rhine" or "My Heart's in the Highlands".
