Description
I've seen a few of these in my lifetime and this is my favourite! Depicts Karel IV (later named Charles 1V) who was King of Bohemia and first king to become Holy Roman Emperor.
He was originally named Wenceslas (know the carol Good KIng Wenceslas?) after his maternal grandfather King Winceslas, also shown on tankard.
The potting and hand painting of castles and heraldry are simply magnificent! And there is no doubt of its authenticity with details shown on base.
You are going to be thrilled to hold this one - so much better than in photos!
Exact age: unknown Size: 7½" (19.25cm) Weight: 900g Condition: Perfect. No chips, cracks or mends. See many photos provided.
I package with respect and great care. This is reflected in 100% positive feedback over ten years in Trade Me.
