This plate is nothing like anything I've seen before. The picture of a woman in a very old costume threshing wheat appears to have been etched into the glaze before firing rather like scrafitto. The plate is made of a reddish terracotta clay. The plate is around 20cm across and has a small chip out of the top at about 1 o'clock- the chip has been glued back in place. It looks well loved and well used. There are no maker's marks on the back, but does appear to have a finely etched R. I'd be delighted if any watcher can tell me how old it is or where it comes from.
