In excellent condition with no marks or faults. Handmade at the Circle Y saddlery Yoakum Texas. The front left hand tie strap holder has been marked with the maker’s stamp. The tree is solid wood covered with bull hide. This provides and strong and durable saddle with the best shock absorbing properties. The horn is higher and rounder for roping and it layered with leather for strength and some flexibility. The outer leather layers are hand carved with traditional flower and leaf design. The seat is not suede but brushed leather and the back has rolled rawhide with silver banding. The 6 conchos are silver and beautifully engraved. Stirrups are leather with rawhide wrapping and detailed leather stitching. Underneath the sheepskin is well padded, no holes, rips or protrusions. Weighs 18kg and the measurements are: Cantle to furthest edge of horn 20” Front of the seat to back 13.5” Seat size is 15” (front of the seat to top of the cantle) Inside the front the width level with concho to concho is 6” Rear cinch including buckles is 38.5” and excluding 33.5” Semi qh bars measuring 6 and 3/4 inches. It seats high at the front for bracing as you rope and pull back.
