As a flashlight-holic, here is what I think of the Marauder Mini:

Fantastic compact light that gives you the best of both worlds. Toggle to choose between 7,000 lumens flood light or a 900 lumens spotlight that pushes up to 600m.

Flood light mode doesn't have a hot spot. Spill is extremely wide and useful. Great for close to mid range illumination thanks to 7 different output level.

Spot light mode consist of a well defined hot spot. Some 'tunnel' effect as it lacks spills. Great for mid to long range illumination.

A well regulated driver. In turbo mode (L7) Flood mode step down kicks in 2 min after activation, output reduce to 1600 lumens. Noticeable output cliff dive effects. Holds at 1600 lumens for another 80 min before further step down to lower output level. What is incredible is that in L6 Flood mode, the Marauder Mini doesn't have a early step down and can hold for 25min at around 3000 lumens!
