Description

Corbin press, dies and everything you need to make 22 bullets.

A Corbin press as photo. A total of 27 different dies and punches for making 22 calibre bullets with commercial jackets or fired rim fire cases as photo. 283 Corbin commercial jackets. Four gang mould for making cores with scrap lead and a rubber headed mallet for knocking the sprue cutter back. Ladle for poring melted lead. Lead wire. 2.4 KG including the plastic holder weighed on my bathroom scales. Bench mounted lead wire core cutter. Corbin tools for taking the rim out of fired R/F cases for use with an ordinary loading press. Corbin Swage lube, two full small ones and one nearly finished. You will get thousands of bullets out of these as a little goes a very long way. A custom made adjustable die made by a toolmaker friend that was made to fit a R/F case with the rim ironed out and a core in to trim the case down to size with a file if needed. A R/F case holder custom made for a Forster neck turner/trimmer Just an idea I had to trim the cases down if you are going to make a light weight bullet of thirty five to forty five grains as the R/F cases tend to stick sometimes to the punch when seating the core and it takes a lot of time to use so stopped using it as I only did it to see if I could. Please note the Forster lathe tool in the photo you use it with is not for sale as I need mine for neck turning and trimming cases. They come up on Trademe quite often. Using Corbin jackets every one comes out perfect, its only the free jackets made from R/F cases that can give trouble. All the books in the photo to tell you how to do it and a pot if you need it for melting your scrap lead. Guns and Hunting magazine published an article I wrote in the Jan/Feb edition which is worth looking at to get some idea as to how to do it. Only reason for selling is I am now into my eighties and have so many different 22 calibre bullets made that they will see my life time out. All pretty heavy so best if you can pick up.
