Alexander James "Ali" Williams is the lock who captains The Blues in Super Rugby but has also played for The Crusaders and, in England, for Nottingham.

Ali played for the ABs 2002 thru 2012 winning a total of 77 caps and cementing himself as one of the all-time great locks.
